| Early March day in Bristow, Virginia with some snow left on ground. |
Cyprus started my real estate career but I watched closely as the market grew to its high's just before we sold (before the housing price bust) our home in Germantown, MD to move to Cyprus.
Before my wife and I decided to move back to Northern Virginia in 2009 we were very lucky to find my partner +Diane Koupepidou who was a friend, that enabled us to continue to keep and grow the Cyprus company that I began a couple years prior. Since then we have grown and expanded our company and network to include another partner. Together, with me working online and using traditional advertising as well as Google, SEO and through social networking we have had good success in providing buyers and sellers for my partners. At times it is more than they can handle.
It was a no-brainer for me to become a real estate agent once back in Virginia. I actually purchased the study guides and books while in Cyprus. By the end of 2011 I was working for Weichert Realtors. I have set up a website, Google+ page and a Facebook page along with all the other networks that have served me well in Cyprus. I repeated everything here in Northern VA now.
Although I am able to generate many great leads for my Cyprus real estate business I have not experienced similar results in Virginia. The main reasons is that we have a big budget that we spend on advertising for our sites in Cyprus and since the first year our budget has increased yearly along with our workload.
I have the ability to give any client (buyer or seller) unparalleled service and expertise. I have spent many hours on regular basis studying real estate in Northern Virginia. There are many areas and depending on your exact requirements prices can vary tremendously. There are very affordable neighborhoods to the most exclusive ones and with the unstable housing market that has been the norm the last few years, you will find that this area was much more stable than most of the country. Housing is definitely on the way up in this region and the only negative at the moment is the shortage of inventory. Even the shortage of available homes for sale may soon be self fixing as many of the homeowners that have been under water with their mortgages now find the prices back in the positive again.
